Masako's visit

I had a GREAT day today! I went to a lovely baby shower for one of my closest friends. It was so beautiful to have that party to honor the new life that will be entering the world soon. Then Masako, Eddie and Kodai came all the way down from Sac just to see us. It was amazing. Kodai has grown so much and he is so happy. It was joyful to see Elise and Kodai playing together. They were trying to take the paci out of the others mouth. It was so funny. They were really looking at one another and trying to figure out what they were doing. It was so cute! Now that I have seen Masako I feel like I am missing her more. Missing the way we used to be, how close we were. I know that I will always be great friends with her but I just wish we were closer so we could see one another more often. I forgot to take pictures when they were here nut she is Japanese so I am sure that I will get a bunch of pics when she gets home. She had her camera here (of course, she is Japanese after all) and she took a million pics so I will show some when she sends them to me. So tired now, had a long day. Night!

All smiles

I am sorry that I haven't written in a while. Working, kids etc etc. Anyway, Aidan and Elise are growing so fast my head is spinning. We are having problems wiht our car and we can't afford to get a new one right now. We need to wait and see what happens with Luke's job before we decide to buy. We are considering the Honda Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna. I can't believe that I have reached "minivan mommy" status. Well I guess that is what happens when you are going to be 30 soon. I have good days and bad days. Sometimes it is very hard to put on a smile for my kids but the second I look into their eyes I feel like the smile turns genuine. They really fill up my soul.

First time

OK I have never done this and I have no idea what I am actually doing. I don't think that I have enough friends to even do something like this. Well here goes it.
I am 29 and have 2 kids. Aidan 2.9 years and Elise 9 months. They are the focus of my life. I am a nurse I have been working in the ER for 3 years. I love my job. I have been extremely happy since I have been married. Luke and I just had our 6 year anniversary. That is my life as I live it today.
